AM8192B
13 bit Rotary Magnetic Encoder IC
Not recommended for new design.
The cylindrically shaped high quality magnet is diametrically polarized and factory selected to ensure best accuracy performance.
Sine and cosine voltage outputs from the Hall sensor array vary with magnet position. Analogue signals are then converted to position data using a configurableinterpolator (up to 13 bit).

The encoder resolution is configurable using an external EEPROM while the Hall sensor array is already factory-trimmed for optimum performance. The absolute angle position value can be accessed through an SSI interface. The relative changes of angle position are simultaneously output as incremental A QUAD B encoder signals at up to 8192 counts per revolution.
