LinACE™
InAxis Linear Absolute Magnetic Shaft Encoder
LinACE™ is an extremely robust absolute linear cylindrical encoder system designed to be integrated into the servomechanism as a transducer, providing accurate measurements with excellent resolution and repeatability. It can be used as a control device or integrated directly into hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical actuators and linear motors as a position or velocity feedback element.
LinACE™ is an extremely robust absolute linear cylindrical encoder system designed for integration into hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical actuators as a feedback element for position/velocity closed loop applications.
Absolute position (no battery back-up needed) can be provided in a range of outputs (BiSS, SSI, PWM and serial RS422) at a range of selectable resolutions down to 0.5 µm with velocities up to 5 m/s. The encoder shaft is impervious to external magnetic fields and may be rotated as it moves forwards and backwards without loosing position. The encoder readhead operates from -30 °C to +85 °C.
The encoder module is available for OEM applications. The readhead housing, shaft diameters and shaft end attachment holes are customisable.
